Howth (English)

Today I remembered when I was in Howth, a little but specially beautiful place. It’s a tiny peninsula placed about 15 km away from Dublin downtown (Ireland) and originally it was a fishing town.

One day I met with a group of international students, we took a train (DART) and we went to that village to do hiking up in the cliffs. The truth is that the weather wasn’t good (in Ireland is usually windy and cold), but we could try a typical pastries that we bought in a stall in the port and we enjoyed the amazing views from the top of the peninsula. I think that until that moment, I hadn’t ever seen such a GREEN landscape and such incredible cliffs. So if you go to Dublin and you have time, I recommend you to dedicate one day to do hiking in Howth and then eat “fish and chips” in the port.

A great place to share🙂

PS: the small island in the first pic is known as “Ireland’s eye”.
