Phil Bosmans is a catholic priest who was born in 1922 inBelgium, although he lived for several years in France. He spent 2 years battling for his life, and miraculously he recovered. From that moment on, he started to dedicate his life to the people; to write self-help books and he founded “Movement without a Name”, dedicated to helping hopeless people.
Here are some of his quotes that I think are essential for living:
”Only one happy person may make another happy”
“Share your bread and the taste improves. Share your hapiness and it increases”
“Kiss your life. Accept it, just as it is. Today. Now. So that those moments of happiness you’re waiting for don’t pass you by”
Finally, here is a little piece from one of his books:
“To be, at least, a bit happy,
to have a piece of the sky on Earth,
you should make it up with life, with your life,
just the way it is now!
You should accept your job,
the people around you,
their flaws and imperfections […]”.
This pic is from a image that I have in my room. It has a quote that I LOVE. It may be translated into “There is no elevator to hapiness. You have to take the stairs“ 🙂
